organic hr ltd aims to be an ethical, user friendly management and hr consultancy offering services that enhance human resources (HR) performance and develop individuals, teams and organisations. Our business evolved in Spring 2010 from a long-standing UK management consultancy firm and is based on a business model that is designed to be accessible, responsible and responsive.
We provide expert help and practical support in all areas of what is called the ‘employment lifecycle‘ from initial contact pre-recruitment to the time when people leave the company, and everything in-between; helping employers to increase profitability, manage risks and release management time.
Who we are
organic hr Halifax is led by Nancy Ellis and supported by a team of specialist associates and partner organisations including employment lawyers, consultant HR directors, debt counselling services and occupational psychologists. Between us we have worked with a wide range of organisations in the private, public and charitable sectors, including government agencies, local authorities, national companies and locally based SMEs. Each of us has worked and lived in many different parts of the UK but we are delighted to base our business here in West Yorkshire. Further details are provided about the management consultancy team here.
What we do
We want to make everything to do with people at work, in management and team development (aka human resources) relevant, easy and accessible to businesses and organisations of all shapes, sizes and sectors. You might not always have the time or the expertise to make the best of your people, so we offer ‘end to end‘ management and HR help in all its forms covering recruitment, training, development, coaching, performance management, team building, succession planning, redundancy handling and terminations. We use psychometric assessments and occupational testing to inform many of the people processes undertaken and seek to set out everything necessary in easy to understand and legally compliant documents.
We are committed to being environmentally and socially responsible too (including regularly undertaking pro bono work). Most of all, we are dedicated to transferring the skills needed by the people we work with to help them build up their own human resources expertise, better equipping them to respond to the shifting business environment and achieve on-going performance improvement. This process is known as organic change, and is where our name comes from.
